The purpose of the organization is to unite sugarbeet growers in the United States and promote the common interest of sugarbeet grower organizations.

We Represent the 10,000 family farmers in 11 states that raise sugarbeets on 1.1 million acres and own 20 factories and dozens of strategically located storage and distribution facilities where every factory operates with organized union workers. These 20 factories are owned by eight sperate farmer-owned cooperatives. The cooperatives are the sole processors of sugar from sugarbeets in the U.S and critical to national and food security. Our farmers and the 20-farmer-owned processing facilities account for over 100,000 rural jobs and contribute over 13.4 billion annually to the U.S. economy.
